Terms of Service
Last updated · April 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ramnn.com, app.ramnn.com, and any related products (together, the "Service"), operated by Ramnn ("Ramnn", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Ramnn is
Ramnn is a personal finance platform. It lets you connect your bank accounts, see your balances and transactions, categorize spending, track investments, set budgets, and interact with an assistant that helps you understand your money. The Service is a read-only view over your financial life — it does not move money, hold funds, or execute trades.
2. Eligibility and accounts
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service.
2.2 Account creation
You create an account by signing in with Google. You agree to keep your Google account secure, to provide accurate information, and to keep that information current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2.3 Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. Closure triggers the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that put the Service or other users at risk, or that we are required to close for legal reasons.
3. Connecting your bank accounts
When you connect a bank account, you are granting Ramnn — through Enable Banking, a PSD2 Account Information Service Provider — a read-only mandate to fetch account metadata, balances, and transactions. You authenticate directly with your bank; Ramnn never sees your banking credentials. You can revoke this consent at any time from Settings → Connected accounts.
PSD2 consents expire periodically (typically every 90–180 days, depending on your bank). If a consent expires or your bank changes its interface, some data may be temporarily unavailable until you renew the connection.
4. Licence and acceptable use
4.1 Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own personal financial management.
4.2 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anyone other than yourself, or connect accounts you are not authorised to access;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
- build a competing product, resell the Service, or use it to provide financial services to third parties;
- interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass rate limits, or probe for vulnerabilities outside of our responsible-disclosure process;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the Service to launder funds or evade taxes.
5. Your content
Documents, notes, categories, and any other content you add to the Service remain yours. You grant Ramnn a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display that content strictly to operate the Service on your behalf. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of anything you upload.
6. AI features
The Service uses Google Gemini models to categorize transactions, power semantic search, transcribe voice notes, assist with CSV imports, answer questions you ask the in-app assistant, and generate the weekly and daily email digests. Perplexity is used solely to aggregate public financial news. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on.
As described in our Privacy Policy, your financial data is not used to train foundation models. If you would rather not use AI features, contact support@ramnn.com.
7. Financial information disclaimer
Balances, transactions, holdings, valuations, category totals, and any other figures shown in the Service are provided for information only and come from third parties — your bank (via Enable Banking) and market-data providers such as Financial Modeling Prep and Yahoo Finance. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
- Ramnn does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any figure displayed.
- The official record of your accounts and investments is the one maintained by your bank, broker, or custodian — not Ramnn.
- You remain solely responsible for your tax filings, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
8. Plans, fees, and changes
Ramnn may be offered under free and paid plans. The price, billing frequency, and features of each plan are displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in advance for the plan you choose and are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change plans, features, or fees with reasonable notice. Material changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle; you can cancel before then if you do not wish to accept the change.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and data providers (banks, Enable Banking, Google, Perplexity, Cloudflare, Resend, market-data providers, hosting providers, and others). When you use the Service you are also bound by the relevant terms of those providers to the extent they apply to you. Ramnn is not responsible for outages, errors, or changes introduced by third parties.
10. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ramnn and its officers, employees, and subprocessors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Ramnn in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Ramnn harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
Either side may end this agreement at any time. You can close your account from Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, indemnity, governing law) will do so.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that grant you access to the courts of your place of residence.
Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@ramnn.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
